Design of environmental friendly Circuits and Recycling of Electronics

Students know the life cycle of electronic devices and are able to name the requirements resulting from rules such as IEC 62430. They are able to classify and optimise the design process by means of the energy consumption aspects in the company, the necessary resources for production and disposal. Students understand the production processes of many different components used in electronic products and are able to understand the complexity of new electronic products. They are familiar with proper recycling methods used to recycle end-of-life electronic products and how to design product in the way of optimal recycling later on.
