Learn to Detect, Develop, and Implement Solutions for Student Support in Collaboration with University Administration! Do you want to learn, how social science methods help to develop and implement the new support system for your fellow students? Than join this interdisciplinary project! The interdisciplinary project is attached to the "Path Out"- project of the university. “Path out” project aims to develop a supportive IT system for students in precarious situations by focusing on the specific needs and challenges of this group. During the interdisciplinary project you can learn the whole process from an organisational level – from detecting a problem on a level of an organisation till developing a solution – and even see it implemented afterwards! Together with your fellow students and a vice president of the University you detect and describe the problem (connected to life situation of your fellow students), look for creative solutions, coordinate and organise the focus groups with fellow students, thus learning a method application, analyse the results of the focus groups and make suggestions, how your results should be implemented into a AI-Based problem solution. The good thing about it: the university is going to implement this system afterwards, so with help of the project you really help your fellow students while learning the methods and seeing university through the lens of the university administration.
