MCC__Global_Commons.jpgThis course will give you an overview of the various links between environment and economy. We will discuss and apply theories such as externalities and ecosystem services, commons and public goods, property rights and environmental justice, whilst focusing particularly on understanding the tourism-related aspects and policies. As your lecturer this semester, I am normally based in our physical and engineering sciences faculty on the 'other' side of the canal (see my profile page here). I am therefore looking all the more forward to meeting a group of students from an entirely new course! ;-) |  |
