Is NATO a feminist nightmare? What has the EU done for anti-discrimination? And how are the WHO or the WTO and gender equality linked? In this course students will be familiarized with feminist approaches in the context of International Relations, providing them with a foundation with which to analyze international institutions, their structures, and their policies. The aim is for students to examine international institutions from very different perspectives. The course is therefore divided into two blocks. In the first block, students will be expected to read primary texts which will be presented and discussed in the lecture and the accompanying seminar. The second block will link the theoretical perspectives with empirical examples, allowing students to select institutions of their choice. Students are encouraged to actively participate in course discussions.
